By accessing our website or booking any service, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Home-Pulse website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these Terms & Conditions in full.

If you are booking on behalf of a business or property management company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Important: If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

Services Provided

Home-Pulse provides professional home improvement, repair, and maintenance services including but not limited to:

  • Plumbing – Leak repairs, pipe installation, drain unblocking, fixture replacement
  • Electrical – Wiring, outlet installation, circuit breaker repairs, lighting
  • Carpentry & Joinery – Door/window fitting, furniture assembly, custom woodwork
  • Painting & Decorating – Interior and exterior painting, wallpaper, plastering
  • HVAC – Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation and servicing
  • Roofing – Roof inspection, repairs, gutter cleaning and replacement
  • Flooring – Tiling, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl floor installation
  • General Maintenance – Periodic inspections, handyman services, emergency call-outs

We reserve the right to decline any job that falls outside our scope of expertise or poses safety concerns to our technicians.

Booking & Appointments

All service bookings are subject to technician availability and must be confirmed by our team via email or phone before they are considered active.

  • Bookings can be made online, by phone, or via email
  • A confirmation message will be sent within 2 business hours of your request
  • You must provide accurate property address and access details at time of booking
  • Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property during service
  • We reserve a 30-minute arrival window around your scheduled appointment time
Emergency Bookings: For urgent same-day services, please call us directly. Emergency call-out fees may apply outside of standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm).

Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted inclusive of labour unless otherwise stated. Materials and parts are charged separately unless included in a fixed-price package.

  • A written quote will be provided before any work begins for jobs exceeding Β£150
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless a deposit was agreed in advance
  • We accept bank transfer, credit/debit card, and approved financing plans
  • Invoices unpaid after 14 days may incur a late fee of 2% per month
Note: Any additional work discovered during the job that was not included in the original quote will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding. We will never carry out unapproved work.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both clients and our technicians:

  • More than 48 hours notice: Full refund, no cancellation fee
  • 24–48 hours notice: 25% cancellation fee of the quoted amount
  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • No-show / access denied: Full call-out fee charged
  • Rescheduling: Free of charge with more than 24 hours notice
Emergency Exception: Cancellation fees are waived in genuine emergency situations (e.g. hospitalisation) upon provision of reasonable evidence.

Workmanship Warranty & Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of every job we complete. All labour provided by Home-Pulse is covered by our workmanship guarantee:

  • Standard repairs: 90-day workmanship warranty
  • Major installations: 12-month workmanship warranty
  • Full renovations: 24-month workmanship warranty
  • Materials and parts are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty
  • Warranty is void if work is modified or tampered with by a third party

To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period with your original invoice number and a description of the issue. We will arrange a free inspection within 5 business days.

Liability & Damages

Home-Pulse carries full public liability insurance. In the event of damage caused directly by our technicians during service, we will:

  • Assess the damage within 2 business days of notification
  • Repair or replace damaged items at no cost to the client where liability is confirmed
  • Process insurance claims promptly and transparently
Limitations: We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage, issues arising from client-supplied materials, or damage caused by failure to follow our post-service care instructions. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total value of the service invoice.

Property Access & Safety

You agree to provide our technicians with safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the work area. This includes:

  • Clearing furniture or belongings that may obstruct the work area prior to arrival
  • Disclosing any known hazards (asbestos, damp, structural issues) at the time of booking
  • Ensuring pets are secured away from the work area during service
  • Providing access to water, electricity, and utilities required for the job

Our technicians have the right to refuse or pause work if the site conditions are deemed unsafe, without penalty to Home-Pulse.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Data we collect includes your name, address, contact details, and service history.

  • Your data is used solely to deliver and improve our services
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time

Intellectual Property

All content on the Home-Pulse website β€” including logos, text, images, graphics, and design β€” is the exclusive property of Home-Pulse and is protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission from Home-Pulse.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any disputes before pursuing legal action. We are committed to fair and transparent resolution.

Home-Pulse reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
